But behind every election promise lies a much bigger question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who really owns the future of a nation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s tempting to believe that the answer is simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After all, governments make laws, approve They build cultures where responsibility is shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Governments provide direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Businesses create opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Universities generate knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Courts protect justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Media informs citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Communities solve local problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Families pass on values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And citizens hold the entire system accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When each part plays its role, nations move forward together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This also changes how we think about patriotism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Loving one’s country is not measured only by waving a flag or celebrating national days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is reflected in everyday choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Doing honest work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Respecting the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Helping neighbours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Protecting public property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Paying taxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Teaching children integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Treating others with dignity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These actions rarely
