Hindu total fertility has collapsed below replacement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Muslim fertility, though declining, remains higher. The gap has narrowed but has not vanished, and in the high-fertility belts of the North and East it continues to compound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Layer upon this the relentless illegal immigration from Bangladesh into Assam, West Bengal, and the Northeast, and the arithmetic becomes existential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has repeatedly warned that the indigenous Assamese face erasure if the trend continues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He has spoken of a demographic invasion that has already flipped districts, occupied land, and threatens language, culture, and identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOnce they cross 50 percent, others will not survive,\u201d he has said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In district after district of lower and central Assam, the indigenous population has watched its share shrink while forest land, riverbanks, and even temple surroundings have come under pressure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Leaders like him can slow the advance; they cannot reverse it if the majority community continues to treat numbers as someone else\u2019s problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The same quiet shift is visible in pockets of West Bengal, Kerala\u2019s Malabar belt, and parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, where local political power, street dominance, and cultural assertion have already begun to change character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The intent behind the numbers was made explicit by the Popular Front of India. Raids and investigations recovered an internal document titled \u201cIndia 2047 \u2013 Towards Rule of Islam in India.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n Marked \u201cnot for circulation,\u201d it laid out a roadmap to establish Islamic government by the centenary of Independence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n It spoke of recruiting and training cadres in weapons and combat, infiltrating government departments, police, and the judiciary, creating rifts between the RSS and SC\/ST\/OBC communities, and mobilising even 10 percent of the Muslim population to \u201csubjugate the majority community to their knees and bring back the glory of Islam.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n Courts examining the material have described a conspiracy to overthrow the constitutional order and establish rule under Sharia by or before 2047. <\/p>\n\n\n\n PFI was banned, yet the mindset the document reveals did not vanish with the organisation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Similar ambitions have surfaced in other radical networks that view India\u2019s constitutional democracy as a temporary arrangement to be replaced once numerical and organisational strength is achieved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The document\u2019s timeline of 2047 is not accidental; it deliberately coincides with the national goal of a fully developed Bharat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All of this stands as the greatest silent hurdle to the current government\u2019s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Prime Minister Narendra Modi has placed before the nation an ambitious goal: a developed India when the country completes one hundred years of Independence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The framework of Sapt Dhara <\/strong>( seven streams of strength ) spans manufacturing at global scale and quality, agriculture and food processing, technology and innovation including AI training for one crore youth, Gati Shakti infrastructure, self-reliant defence power, the green and blue economy with a target of 100 GW nuclear capacity, and the projection of India\u2019s soft power and civilisational influence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Semiconductor plants, critical minerals, energy security, and a competitive place in global supply chains form the concrete targets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This is the roadmap of a confident, rising civilisation reclaiming its rightful place. It seeks to lift hundreds of millions out of poverty, create high-quality jobs, secure the borders, and project Bharat as a leading power in a multipolar world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yet no amount of factories, AI skills, or nuclear reactors can secure Viksit Bharat if the social and demographic foundation is allowed to erode. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A nation whose core civilisational majority is steadily losing relative strength through differential fertility and open borders cannot maintain the cohesion, trust, and long-term stability required for sustained high growth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Local majorities that flip change political incentives, cultural norms, women\u2019s safety, temple freedom, and the very character of public life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Schools, police stations, courts, and elected bodies begin to reflect the new balance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Investment decisions, migration patterns within the country, and even the willingness of families to remain in certain districts are quietly altered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n History from Malabar to the Valley has shown what follows once the demographic threshold is crossed: increased pressure, reduced space for Hindu traditions, and a gradual rewriting of the local social contract. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The demographic challenge is therefore not a side issue; it is the most fundamental threat to the entire 2047 project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Without addressing infiltration through decisive border management and deportation, without a clear-eyed population policy that recognises civilisational continuity, and without Hindus themselves reversing the collapse in their own fertility, the grand vision risks being built on sand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The deeper \u201cwhy\u201d is civilisational. Higher fertility and organised migration have repeatedly functioned as instruments of expansion across centuries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The same impulse that produced the Moplah outbreaks, the Direct Action killings, the Partition transfers of population, and the Pandit exodus continues in subtler forms today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Hindus, by contrast, embraced modern education, urbanisation, and the small-family ideal with greater intensity, often viewing larger families as a burden rather than a civilisational necessity. The result is a relative decline that compounds every decade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Those who dismiss these concerns as \u201ccommunal\u201d ignore both the historical record and the explicit documents recovered from radical organisations. Those who treat demography as destiny without action surrender the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1921 was a warning written in blood and forced conversions. Partition was the loss of 40 percent of the land. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The decades of riots and the PFI\u2019s 2047 document are the continuation of the same civilisational contest by other means. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Viksit Bharat is the correct and necessary goal. But it will remain incomplete and ultimately insecure unless Bharat first secures its demographic and cultural core. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The window is still open. The arithmetic, however, does not wait.
